6.5mm elevator steel rope
,
elevator steel rope 8×19S
,
ISO 4344 elevator ropes
Product Description
6.5mm Nominal Diameter Elevator Steel Rope 8×19S+IWRC ISO 4344
Structural Composition
8×19S: This wire rope consists of 8 strands with 19 wires in each strand, featuring the Seale type (S) structure. The Seale configuration uses thicker outer wires and thinner inner wires, providing excellent wear resistance and compression resistance.
IWRC: Represents an Independent Wire Rope Core, which is twisted from multiple steel wires. This steel core enhances compression resistance and high-temperature stability while significantly improving the overall tensile strength of the wire rope.
Performance Characteristics
High Strength: The 8×19S structure combined with the steel core provides high breaking tensile force, enabling heavy load capacity for applications with demanding strength requirements.
Excellent Wear Resistance: Thicker outer wires effectively resist wear during contact and friction with other surfaces, reducing wire breakage risk and extending service life.
Resistance to Extrusion and High Temperature: The IWRC steel core provides good extrusion resistance and maintains stability in high-temperature environments, with performance unaffected by temperature variations.
Good Flexibility: Maintains sufficient flexibility for bending and winding operations while ensuring strength requirements are met.
Application Areas
Elevator Industry: Used as elevator traction ropes, providing reliable tensile support for elevator lifting systems and ensuring safe, stable operation.
Lifting and Hoisting Operations: Employed in cranes, tower cranes, and other lifting equipment for heavy object handling, ensuring operational safety.
Industrial Applications: Suitable for mine hoisting equipment, oil drilling machinery, and other industrial applications requiring lifting and traction in harsh environments and high-load conditions.
Construction and Bridge Engineering: Used for material lifting in construction projects and as temporary support or auxiliary traction ropes in bridge construction.
